‘Oh, you guys will be back!’ – The Gas Lamps soundman Jeff Stone, when asked about SIT's first time there.

Friday, May 27th Stars in Toledo opened for Jeff and the Affects at The Gas Lamp in Des Moines IA. The band showed up virtually unknown to anyone in town. A local musician later told guitarist Nick 'you had us after the first two songs which are hits by the way'. During the two covers, the guys do they had the whole crowd singing along but the reaction to original songs by the attendees was amazing. Guitarist Johnny later said that it was the best gig he had ever been a part of. So, needless to say, the guys in the band will be looking forward to returning to The Gas Lamp.
